The Proactive portion of the program would consist of the following portions:

  3. Initial assessment of the capabilities of the workers
    1. Quick assessment of age, health, race, etc., to get basic profile of existing workforce (i.e, Health Risk Appraisal)
  4. Quantitative physical demands assessment (non-office)
    1. Post-Offer Employment Testing
    2. Job Task Analysis
    3. Job Hazards Analysis
  5. Prioritization of High, Medium, and Low Risk Tasks
  6. Prioritization of High, Medium, and Low Physical Demand Tasks
  7. Three-year or sooner plan for reducing High and Medium risk tasks to Medium or Low Risk Tasks, where appropriate
  8. Development of fatigue relieving and strength conditioning exercise program
  9. Develop Critical Behavior Inventory
  10. Develop Observation Program
  11. Run physical discomfort survey (part of the health risk appraisal process)
    1. Determine which employees should be medically reviewed at this time
    2. Determine which jobs are highly impacting employees
    3. Determine which body parts are being affected most
    4. Determine which employees may have psychosocial issues to be addressed
