MISSION
True Cross School's mission is to educate our young people both spiritually and academically in order to prepare them for the challenges they will encounter for the rest of their lives. We endeavor to build a generation that is cooperative, unselfish, tolerant, and capable of good judgement. We want our children to grow up molded by the teachings of Jesus Christ, rooted in the ideals of family life, and aware of their responsibility to serve one another.

PHILOSOPHY
True Cross School is a community called by God to grow in wisdom and grace just as Jesus did when he was a child. As we grow spiritually, academically, and emotionally, we will learn to share our God-given gifts with others. In this way, the Kingdom of God will grow and prosper to His eternal glory.

ACCREDITATION
True Cross School has been fully accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference Department of Education since 1968. In addition, True Cross School Fulfills all state requirements and is published in the Texas School Directory of Accredited Schools. True Cross School renewed it's accreditation the 2004 school year. Thank you to all the teachers and staff that made that happen.

SCHOOL FEATURES
True Cross School has many great features available to its students including:
- Extra-curricular activities including gymnastics, choir, volleyball, baseball, and chess club
- Hot lunches
- Spanish and Algebra taught in Middle School
- Large computer and science labs
- Wednesday Mass for all students
- Participates in the National Junior Honors Society
- All teachers are degreed
- Stanford achievement tests are given to all students K-8
- Annual field trip to Washington, D.C., for the 8th grade
