Vernon McDonald (Nascent Technologies & Wyle Life Sciences) will present
"Handling Postural and Manual Control in Space" at 5:30 pm in Sewall Hall 307.
A reception will follow the talk.
Dr. McDonald will talk about some of the work he has done looking at the
"skill" of posture and manual control within the context of extravehicular
activities (spacewalks). This work has a strong perceptual-motor theoretical
foundation with a commitment to addressing operational issues pertinent to
Space Station construction and future manned missions to Mars & the Moon.
